At this stage we succeeded in implementing a DMFC (Direct Methanol Fuel Cell), in cooperation with the Jülich University,
into a standard Arrow. This combination was able through a low motor current and the favourable chassis design.
The main advantage of DMFC is that Methanol is the energy source instead of conventional hydrogen. Methanol is produced trough
regenerative energy sources like biogas that leads to an almost closed CO2 cycle.
Both research teams are confident to realize a production start of the Arrow with this Direct Methanol Fuel Cell solution in near future.
